A healthy church requires outstanding, God-given, committed and qualified leaders to serve as deacons and elders. Nominations are open during the month of January. Please complete a nomination form for each nominee. Forms are found where you pick up church bulletins; they include a list of qualifications and duties. Please note that you must obtain the signature of the nominee indicating his acceptance of the nomination.

Youth fundraiser for mission: The youth at FPC are putting together a cookbook, A Taste of Grace, for their mission trips during the summer, and they’re in need of recipes. Please submit as many recipes as you would like to Deborah Templeton, preschool@fpckosciusko.org, or to the church office. Remember, the more recipes, the better the book. There are recipe cards on the desk in the church office. Please put your name on your recipe(s). Thank you for contributing.
According to Plan - Joe is teaching the Adult Bible Class which began October 19 during the Sunday School hour on the book entitled, According to Plan by Graeme Goldsworthy. Talk to Joe Holland or Don Smith if you would like to join us.
Lunch with John: Bible study on The Gospel of John, led by Joe Holland, Tuesdays from 12:00 - 1:00 pm in the 2nd floor conference room of the Tyler, King and Ryder building on the Square. Bring your lunch. All are welcome.

New Women’s Group - There will be a new women’s Bible Study starting in January. We will meet once a month on Wednesday night during prayer meeting. If you would like to join us please call the church office or for more information talk to Tanya Steen, Hallie Holland, or Judy Potts.
Grief Share: A new session begins Thursday, January 15 at 6:30 pm. If you or someone you know has lost a loved one, please call us to find out more information about this seminar/support group.

MIC-WIC Night: Wednesday, January 28, Dr. Jim Baird will speak to the men, and Mrs. Jane Baird will speak to the women.
Mid-South Men’s Rally: Friday, January 30, at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
FPC to host Presbytery - On Tuesday, February 3 we will host the Mississippi Valley Presbytery’s quarterly meeting. At this meeting elders will gather from all over central Mississippi to discuss the work of the PCA in Mississippi. You are invited to stop by and sit in on any portion of the meeting that you are able to attend. Of special note is the 11:00 am communion service; everyone is invited and encouraged to come. Ask Phillip, Grant, or Joe for more details.
