FPC Preschool
In 1984 with the relocation of the First Presbyterian Church to Smythe Street, a committee was formed to organize a kindergarten as a part of the outreach of the church. Much thought, prayer and research went into its organization. The kindergarten began with a 5 year old kindergarten and a 3 & 4 year old pre-kindergarten with approximately 30 children. Today, FPC Preschool offers 3-and-4-year-old preschool, Mother’s Morning Out for 1s and 2s, and after school care with approximately 100 children. The Lord has used this school to spread the gospel and to develop the minds of these children. We thank God for His faithfulness.
We believe that God created each child as a special and unique individual. Our mission is to teach, train and equip children academically and spiritually so that they will love the Lord with all their heart and love others and to make a major contribution to the child’s overall development, socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually.
