Proverbs: Living with Wisdom
All sermons preached by Rev. Phillip Palmertree
Proverbs is an extraordinary work on ‘Living with Wisdom’ and has been neglected too long. Some books, like Romans, lift us airborne to view the vast landscape of God’s purposes and the revelation of his grace in the Gospel of Christ. Proverbs is a microscope which shows us the order of God’s world of money, marriage, sex, power, friendship, work and rest and how minute our obligations are in every endeavor, every relationship, every thought, word and action. It sets before us a witty, pithy vision of on-earth-as-it-is-in-heaven living in daily life.
